Shannon Leigh Wells is the heart and soul of Leigh Photography. This is not just a job or a business to her, but her first love. Shannon decided early on that a boring desk job was not for her and after graduating from The Art Institute in Atlanta, set out to find her talent. Her background includes fashion, studio, architecture and children’s photography.
The fashion world taught her to be creative. Her time in the studio taught her attention to detail. Architectural photography relies on space and light and children teach speed and people skills. All these, combined with a love of weddings, makes for a great wedding photographer. It’s true that wedding photography is a skill not just picked up overnight and Shannon has been perfecting that skill for over fifteen years.
